📺: Renowned content creation expert, Julia McCoy from Content Scale, dives into the future for us, writers, in the AI era in a remarkable Live Talk.
Here are my main bite-sized takeaways:
🧠 even if you use AI to create content, highlight personal experiences in line with Google's "EAT" principle (Experience, Expertise, Authority, Trust).
🤖 google's algorithm now includes an "experience" component, readying for the rise in AI-generated content after OpenAI's ChatGPT launch.
🔍 keyword research is still king in SEO. Use tools like Semrush, Ahrefs, or Keyword Finder.
📚 go beyond surface-level and create deep, engaging content. Bonus points for supplementing it with video content!
😨82% of marketers believe genAI content is as good as human-generated (are they wrong??)
🚫 avoid publishing raw AI-generated content; editing is key! (Or you could simply fall back on the unchecked AI content, A.K.A. garbage machines, out there – but do so at your own risk! 😉)
